Timothée Adolphe, 400m world champion, is blind since the age of 17. The high level French Paralympic athlete, nicknamed Guépard Blanc (engl. White Cheetah), depends on a relationship of trust with his guides who accompany him throughout his training sessions and competitions.
Update: Timothée and Bruno finished the 400m with a silver medal in Tokyo.
Tom Habscheid

After finishing 2nd during the World Championships in Dubai in 2019, 35 year old shotputter Tom Habscheid from Luxembourg is aiming high for the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
Tom is born with a shortened leg and therefore performes in the F63 category. Besides working on the technique and strength this sport requires, he has to focus on his asymmetry during his training sessions.
Update: Tom finished 4th in Tokyo.
